ABOUT THE ARTIST
First finding their eye in collage making and painting while young, Jude soon began studying interior design, color theory, cinema, textile creation, and followed that self-taught journey through drawing and printmaking before becoming a woodworking apprentice at a Ballard studio in 2015.
Born and raised in the Duwamish/Seattle area, but now happily planted in the Coastal Salish and Puyallup lands of Tacoma, Washington, Jude has dedicated their life to following passion, inspiration, and the skills necessary for thriving despite all. In all pursuits, the most important threads to their eclectic tapestry have been beauty and justice.
When in need of a change, they enjoy playing music, listening to podcasts, helping abolish the systems that keep marginalized peoples down, daydreaming, dancing, connecting with friends, going on calming walks around the city or forests and watching shows or movies
